Questions about microwave repair
My microwave runs but does not heat. Is it repairable?
Often, yes. A microwave that runs without heating usually has a magnetron, diode, capacitor or fuse problem. Call with the brand and model so we can advise before the visit.
Is it safe to use a microwave that is sparking?
No. Stop using it and unplug it. Sparking can come from a damaged waveguide cover or metal inside. Call us to have it checked.
Are you an authorized service center?
No. Kathmandu Repair Services is an independent repair company in Kathmandu and is not part of any manufacturer. If your appliance is still under warranty, contact the brand first.
